Faith Friends is our midweek program for kid's kindergarten through sixth grade. It meets from 6:00 to 7:30 p.m. each Wednesday night from mid September to mid-May. It consists of an opening time as a whole group with music, memory and a skit emphasizing the Bible story/theme for the evening. Children are then rotated in smaller groups, called circles, through different stations which include crafts, music, and snacks. Each station builds on the main bible theme as presented during the opening. The children conclude in their small groups with a time of "journaling." This is the time they share what has been happening during their week and answer some questions designed to help them in making the lesson real in their lives.2
